Beer - its not just for drinking!

Most soap is made with water or milk; replacing the liquid with beer makes an amazing soap; it doesn’t smell like beer, but takes on the aroma of the hops and extracts that are used in the beer making process.

This soap produces a nice lather and feels smooth and silky on your skin.

Hops contain skin-softening amino acids, which can help to soothe irritated skin, and the brewers yeast used in making beer has antibacterial properties, which may help in the fight against acne.

Beer also has Vitamin B which is great for your skin.

My beer soap is made from my beer! I am a home brewer and I use my own beer in my soap. This means it is less processed and contains all of the good stuff that the big brewers filter out of their beer.

My Beer Soap has no additional fragrances or colors added. It has a mild aroma that may remind you of hops.

Soaps made with beer are often used as a multipurpose soap using it to wash the body, hair and for shaving.
